Greg Harvey is the author of almost 30 Dummies books for technical users and consumers alike. Prior to becoming an author, he worked as a computer and software trainer for business users in companies large and small and taught business classes at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. He also serves as a patient career, bereavement, and vigil volunteer for the oldest San Francisco-based hospice.

In 2005, Greg received his doctorate degree in comparative philosophy and religion with a concentration in Asian Comparative Studies from San Francisco's California Institute of Integral Studies.
